In this machine learning workshop, participants will explore a versatile machine learning toolbox, equipping them to create captivating real-world applications. The central focus will involve leveraging facial detection and hand/body movements to design interactive and entertaining games and applications. The workshop will emphasize the use of block coding, a visual-based coding approach, to bring these ideas to life.

Schedule:

1st Half Session: 10:30 a.m - 12.30 p.m

2nd Half Session: 1.30 p.m - 3.30 p.m

Lego Robotics Workshop: (5 Years Old & Above)

(Available at both SOR branches every Wednesday between 29th May 2024 and 19th June 2024)

In this robotics workshop, participants will be introduced to mechanical concepts such as gear configurations and stable structuring. They will effectively integrate these principles into their robot designs as they create robots that can race, climb and even wrestle. Following the phases of design, construction, and coding, a culminating internal competition will take place, allowing participants to showcase their skills and compete for recognition as the top robot designer.

Minecraft Workshop (7 Years Old & Above )

In this programming workshop, participants will acquire fundamental programming skills through the popular sandbox game Minecraft. The emphasis will be using a Scratch-based coding software to build projects and solve challenges. Participants will create programs that modify and enhance their gameplay experience such as controlling an in-game AI companion and instantly creating building structures.

The central focus will involving creating models using 3D modelling software through prototyping and innovating. Participants will then witness their creations come to life layer by layer using cutting-edge 3D printers.
