3D Printing Workshop (Tuesdays)

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Schedule: First Half Session: 10:30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. Lunch Break: 12.30 p.m. - 1.30 p.m. (Free Lunch provided!) Second Half Session: 1.30 p.m. - 3.30 p.m. In this 3D Printing workshop, participants will grasp the fundamentals of 3D printing and product creation. The central focus will involve creating models using 3D modelling software through prototyping and innovation. Participants will then witness their creations come to life layer by layer using cutting-edge 3D printers. A certificate will be awarded upon completion of the tasks of the day! Class details are as following: 28/05/2024 Week1 3D modeling basics(3D design bootcamp) Learn the basics of 3D modelling software to create 3D models compatible for 3D printing, and start out with your first 3D print! 04/06/2024 Week2 3D Printing Principles & Problem Solving (3D Printing How-tos) Learn about the dos & don'ts of 3D printing, print small parts to solve everyday problems, and dive into a challenge to build a cool mini-print product! 11/06/2024 Week3 3D Print Engineering (Bridges and Automatons) Figuring out and 3D print a miniature bridge that can hold heavy weights without breaking. Print the bridge that can outlast the rest of them all! Create kinetic art with gears and animals! 18/06/2024 Week4 Print & Flight! (Aerodynamics) Learning how 3D printing can help in aerodynamics by weight reduction and altering its design, launching lightweight aerodynamic crafts!
