Minecraft Workshop (Thursdays)

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Schedule: First Half Session: 10:30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. Lunch Break: 12.30 p.m. - 1.30 p.m. (Free Lunch provided!) Second Half Session: 1.30 p.m. - 3.30 p.m. In this Minecraft workshop, participants will acquire skills in programming an AI companion through Scratch-based coding. The emphasis will be on crafting a virtual assistant to help players engage in diverse activities, including battling monsters and assisting with farming tasks, among others. A certificate will be awarded upon completion of the tasks of the day! Class details are as following: 30/05/2024 Week1 Agent Assembler Introducing the concept of the Minecraft Agent and programming it to perform different tasks like building farms and houses. 06/06/2024 Week2 MakeCode Mini-games Introducing the concept of coding with the MakeCode program in Minecraft Education and creating mini-games such as leap of faith and zombie hunting. 13/06/2024 Week3 Craftitect Academy Introducing the concept of coding with the MakeCode program in Minecraft Education and using it to instantly create architect marvels such as a water slide and a zoo. 20/06/2024 Week4 Agent Assembler Introducing the concept of the Minecraft Agent and programming it to perform different tasks like building farms and houses.
