In this robotics workshop, participants will receive an introduction to mechanical concepts related to gears and their applications in robot design. The session will cover the configuration of gears to create racing and climbing robots. Key topics such as gear ratio, motor torque, speed gearing, and power gearing will be comprehensively addressed, enabling students to effectively integrate these principles into their robot designs. Following the phases of design, construction, and coding, a culminating internal competition will take place, allowing participants to showcase their skills and compete for recognition as the top speed racer and best climber in this robotics challenge.
